Denver Museum Part Seven The grand finale

Whew - thank you for tuning in to see all the blog segments of the Denver children's museum! The last segment (my favorite) has their brand new climber "The Altitude Climber"! They also have "Box Canyon" for the little guys.

Thanks Casey for letting me take your photo! Casey is standing in front of "falls" which is a cool vapor / mister.

This is the "Altitude Climber" cam. Kids can take a picture inside the climber.
View up to the top. The climber spans both stories. You can also catch an actual gondola from one of the slopes in the middle. This climber was constructed by museum staff, with I believe an exhibit company?

Children do wear safety helmets and I believe leave their shoes on the bottom floor as well.

Finally tucked away near the early learning section is a special sensory room called the Nest.
Notice the low lighting, comfortable furniture, quiet, a great place for those with sensory sensitivities to have a place to feel comfortable.

Thank you for tuning in to the Denver Museum section of the blog. Please feel free to ask any questions. If you post on the blog others can see the responses :).
